The Crocker has embarked upon a landmark effort to triple the size of its existing facility. A 100,000 square foot expansion will be constructed ensuring that the Museum remains an ever-more-vital cultural center and resource for the community, as well as for art-lovers from near and far. The expansion will enable the Museum to dramatically increase and improve its offerings, providing you and all members of the public with a more diverse range of public programs and exhibitions and an enhanced opportunity for meaningful encounters with great works of art.

The Crocker has successfully set out on a bold effort to secure $75 million to realize the vision of a truly world class art museum. This capital campaign amounts to the largest fundraising effort conducted for a cultural cause in Sacramento . To date, the campaign has succeeded to enlist unprecedented leading generosity.

While the Museum’s campaign leadership maintains its current focus on securing additional seven-figure, multi-year commitments, it eagerly anticipates the opportunity to conduct a broad scale community effort in the coming years. We'll invite the invaluable participation from the Museum’s membership as well as support from the residents of Sacramento and beyond to join the other forward-thinking donors who have already supported this effort. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for everyone to become involved in this historic project.
