For students with drawing experience, this class will expand your repertoire. Explore the creative possibilities of incorporating water-based media into your pencil and charcoal drawings. Comparative measuring, sighting, and accurately estimating proportions and object placement will also be covered.

About the Instructor:
Sarma Karsiere is an internationally recognized artist from Riga, Latvia. In her art, she explores the possibilities found in the cross-pollination of traditional and digital art media. She has been teaching studio art for more than 15 years and is currently an adjunct faculty member with the Los Rios Community College District.
