Crocker Art Camp: Summer Session One
During school breaks, immerse your children in a world of creative fun. With its renowned permanent collection, diverse exhibitions, and an expert team of Museum education staff and teaching artists to provide supportive instruction, the Crocker is an ideal setting for kids to develop their imaginations and creative thinking skills. Inspired by different themes, all sessions include, interactive gallery experiences, walking field trips, daily indoor and outdoor recreational activities, and lots of hands-on art making. All sessions are flexible to fit your child's individual artistic, educational, and social needs.
Session One: Art in Motion
Discover how art and design are a part of bikes, trains, cars, and planes. Learn about art made to move, both in the galleries and on an outdoor scavenger hunt. Engineer your very own moving creations, and collaborate with a local artist to design and paint the first official Crocker Art Bike.
For ages 6-10.
Session One: Monday – Friday, June 18 - June 22
Time: 9 AM – 4 PM
Instructors: Museum Education Staff
All camp sessions are full, but there's still time to register children for the Crocker's summer Studio Art Classes.
