Watercolor Still Life for Beginners

By simplifying composition to basic lines and shapes, learn to paint a beautiful still life arrangement in watercolor. Create color-filled lights and shadows while discovering how to suggest the essence of an object through the lost and found edges of watercolor. Instructor: Kathy Lemke Waste.

About the Instructor:
Kathy Lemke Waste is known locally as the creator of "One Perfect Thing: a Page from an Artist's Journal," a year-long watercolor celebration of local bounty featured in the Sacramento Bee. She served as artist-in-residence at Shriners Hospital for Children and has taught many workshops throughout the area. Her watercolors have been featured in Southwest Art and American Art Collector magazines. Lemke Waste will also teach Watercolor Basics for Beginners.
