Due to the generosity of the GenCorp Foundation and the Frank H. and Eva B. Buck Foundation, a limited number of scholarships are available for students and teachers to participate in the Crocker’s school programs and teacher workshops.

Field Trips
Schools and youth groups from Sacramento County are free. The Art Access fee waiver program is available for groups who require financial support to participate in field trips or Home School Days. Download an Art Access application. Contact the Education Department at 916.808.1182 or education@crockerartmuseum.org to have one mailed to you.

Art Ark
As part of a three-year initiative to expand the reach of the Crocker’s arts education programs, part of the academic year is dedicated to schools in Yolo, Solano and San Joaquin counties. One month is spent in each county, during which the Art Ark, the Crocker’s mobile Museum, will visit several K-8 schools and one community-based organization free of charge. This effort is supported by a grant from the Frank H. and Eva B. Buck Foundation. Teachers in San Joaquin, Solano and Yolo counties who are interested in participating in this free program should call 916.808.7364.

A limited number of scholarships are also available for Title I schools. For more information, call 916.808.7364.

Teacher Workshops
A limited number of scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Download the Scholarship Application Form. Contact the Education Department at 916.808.1182 or education@crockerartmuseum.org to have one mailed to you.

Teachers at schools in Yolo, Solano and San Joaquin counties are eligible for a free professional development workshop introducing them to the Museum’s new school curriculum guide, Striking Gold: Mining the Resources of the Crocker Art Museum. To schedule a teacher workshop, contact Melissa Sais at 916.808.1987.
