New this year, the Crocker presents four one-day workshops for adults. These classes are suitable for beginners and advanced students. Unless noted, classes will take place at the Crocker Art Museum.

Animals as Muse: Drawing Class for Adults

Figure Drawing Marathon for Adults

Draw from nude models while exploring the figure through warm-up exercises, gesture drawings and long poses.

Still Life in Pastel
SATURDAY, JULY 25, 1-4 PM

Explore the intricacies of drawing with pastels while working with a variety of paper, techniques and effects. Explore the Crocker’s collection of 17th-century Dutch paintings for inspiration and helpful hints to inform your drawing.

Forms in Clay

Learn basic techniques for sculpting objects by hand. Find inspiration from the artworks on view in Soaring Voices and the Crocker’s permanent collection galleries.
