Parking
The parking available around the Museum is managed by the City of Sacramento. On-street parking meters bordering the Museum and Crocker Park require quarters. A parking lot is available on Second Street and costs $3 per two hours. Parking for visitors with disabilities can be found in the parking lots and at meters located on 2nd Street.
Public Transportation
Sacramento Regional Transit stops within walking distance of the Crocker Art Museum at the corner of Third and N Streets. Regional Transit recommended bus routes include: 3, 7, 38, 52, 65 and the Dash Trolley. The nearest Light Rail stop is at 8th and O Streets. The Amtrak depot is at Third and I Streets.
Directions
The Crocker is located at 216 O Street in Downtown Sacramento and can be reached from several major freeways.
From May 30 – July 15, major repairs will close Interstate 5 to through traffic between the U.S. Highway 50/Capitol City Freeway interchange and Richards Boulevard in Sacramento for several days at a time in each direction. From the West via I-80 - San Francisco, Davis, etc.
- From I-80 continue on Business 80/Route 50 then follow the exit for West Capitol Avenue
- Follow West Capitol Avenue and cross Tower Bridge
- After crossing the bridge, take the first immediate right onto 3rd Street
- Turn right onto O Street
From the East via I-80 - Auburn, Reno, Roseville, Carmichael, etc.
- Take I-80 West towards San Francisco
- Follow the exit for I-5 South towards Sacramento
- Take the exit for J Street and make the first immediate right onto 3rd street
- Turn right onto O Street
From the East via Highway 50 - Folsom, Placerville, etc.
- Take Highway 50 toward San Francisco
- Take the 10th Street exit
- Follow 10th Street then turn left onto P Street
- Turn right onto 5th Street
- Turn left onto Capitol Mall
- Turn left onto 3rd Street
- Turn right onto O Street
From the South via 99 - Elk Grove, Fresno, etc.
- Take 99 North to San Francisco turnoff (Route 50)
- Follow 50 then take the 10th Street exit.
- Follow 10th Street then turn left onto P Street
- Turn right onto 5th Street
- Turn left onto Capitol Mall
- Turn left onto 3rd Street
- Turn right onto O Street
From the South via I-5 – Lodi, Stockton, Modesto, etc.
- Take I-5 North towards Sacramento
- Take the exit for Q Street
- Turn left onto 5th Street
- Turn left onto Capitol Mall
- Turn left onto 3rd Street
- Turn right onto O Street
From the North via I-5 – Natomas, Woodland, etc.
- Take I-5 South towards Sacramento
- Take the J Street exit and turn right off the ramp on to 3rd Street
- Turn right onto O Street
