Making art incorporates more brain function than any other activity. This fascinating multi-media presentation explores what happens in the brain during the process of creating and viewing art, with examples from renowned artists including Sam Francis. Psychologist Dr. Foad Afshar and art educator Michael Ariel, both faculty at the New Hampshire Institute of Art, will offer an insightful look at the impact of art on the brain. Space is limited and reserving tickets in advance is recommended.
