Crocker Art Museum Presents Little Buckaroos Day on Labor Day
Family activities and free admission sponsored by Target

Sacramento, Calif. – July 5, 2012 – Back by popular demand, families with young children will have a yee-haw time at the Crocker celebrating Sacramento's annual Gold Rush Days on Labor Day Monday, September 3, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The West will be wild with wiggles and giggles during this event featuring live performances by children's ballet folklorico group Nube de Oro and family bluegrass band Oak Grove. Attendees can also experience Native American craft-making demos, hands-on art-making, and even visit a petting zoo.

The Museum will be open free of charge on Labor Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission and activities are sponsored by Target.

Little ones from infancy to five years of age and their caregivers can also enjoy spending time in
Tot Land, a gallery devoted entirely to families located in the Museum's Education Center. Tot Land features the Webby-nominated Living Art Wall, an interactive touch screen for unparalleled creative play, as well as spaces for art making and reading.
